Transportation Accessibility
Tom’s Tours and Taxi Service provides private, demand-responsive transportation using a standard passenger SUV. Our vehicle is not equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp.
We regularly accommodate passengers who use wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices when the passenger is able to transfer into the vehicle and the mobility device can be safely transported in the vehicle. If you use a mobility device or have another accessibility need, please let us know when arranging your transportation so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Passengers with disabilities are welcome on our local taxi service, Amtrak and airport transportation, long-distance transportation, and private tours.
Trained service animals and service animals in training are welcome as required by applicable law. Pets and emotional support animals that do not meet the legal definition of a service animal are not permitted.
Tom’s Tours and Taxi Service provides transportation in accordance with applicable accessibility requirements, including Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. § 12184, U.S. Department of Transportation regulations under 49 CFR Part 37, and Texas Human Resources Code Chapter 121.
